- 2006 - The Palmetto Voices formed and features alumni singers from throughout the southeast. Sumter High School, University of South Carolina, Western Kentucky University, and Brewton Parker College have all experienced choral direction from Dr. Sonja Sepulveda during her teaching career including her current students at Salem College where she is Director of Choral Activities and Music Theory.
- 2009 - Performed at the South Carolina Music Educators conference
- 2010 - Combined with Brewton Parker College Concert Choir in to perform the solo concert at Carnegie Hall which previewed, Requiem, conducted by British composer, John Rutter.
- 2011 - Joined forces with the choral ensembles of Salem College to perform a solo concert with guest composer/conductor, Eric Whitacre.
- 2012 - At the Southern Division ACDA convention, the Palmetto Voices performed as a demonstration choir as part of a lecture on the Spiritual.
- 2013 - Palmetto Voices performed at the 2013 National ACDA convention in Dallas, TX as a solo choir for the Ecumenical Worship Service. Sang with The Songmen of the UK and the First United Methodist Church of Dallas at the Cathedral Guadalupe Church.
- 2014 - In June, Palmetto Voices performed at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA, home church of Martin Luther King, Jr. In July, Palmetto Voices performed at the 2014 Alabama ACDA convention in Tuscaloosa, Alabama as the solo choir, and were also the featured demonstration choir for Dr. Sepulveda’s presentation on the Spiritual.
